What's a WhatsApp Community?

A WhatsApp Community is a way to bring several related group chats together under one umbrella. Instead of separate, scattered conversations, everyone gathers in a single community that holds multiple subgroups — and a main announcement channel for the things everyone needs to see.

You join once, then choose which subgroups matter to you. It works on any phone with WhatsApp installed, and there's no cost to join — just the data you already use.

A community is made of three things:

An announcement group — where leaders post stake-wide updates everyone sees.

Subgroups — one for each stake group or ministry, so you only see what's relevant to you.

A member directory — a private, members-only space kept by our stake admins.
