The Lord's Vision
For the Boynton Beach Florida Stake
Our Mission
The Stake Vision
The vision for the Boynton Beach Florida Stake is to enlist all within our boundaries to strengthen the Stake to prepare for the next temple in South Florida.
"Genuine Christlike love to all, united in our vision with a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ that enables us to do hard things and expect miracles."
Stake Culture
How We'll Get There
Four Pillars of Focus
Deepening Testimony of Jesus Christ
- Ensure each sacrament meeting focuses on Christ and is a spiritually uplifting worship service for all.
- Empower each member to conduct meaningful daily personal scripture study using "Come, Follow Me."
- Regularly utilize the scriptures and words of the living prophets to teach and reinforce doctrine.
- Use My Covenant Path to help all focus on their "next needed ordinance."
Sharing the Gospel
- Using the Five Family Program, focus on part-member families with at least one non-member in the home and a prospective elder.
- Employ the self-reliance program, EnglishConnect, and family history to find friends who could benefit from the blessings of the gospel.
- Work closely with the full-time missionaries; have a member involved in 100% of the scheduled lessons with progressing friends.
- Each member earnestly prays for and actively looks for ways to testify and share the truths they know weekly with non-members.
- Hosting engaging activities focused on welcoming visitors.
- Elders Quorum and Relief Society Presidents lead the missionary effort and conduct effective weekly Missionary Coordination Meetings.
Developing Prospective Elders
- Using the Five Family Program, focus on part-member families with a prospective elder and at least one non-member in the home.
- Assist all recent converts who are prospective elders in receiving the blessing of the Melchizedek Priesthood as soon as possible.
- Regularly visit the homes of prospective elders and help them prepare for their "next needed ordinance."
Engaging in Family History and Temple Work
- Empowering all in our Stake to seek out and complete at least three generations of their family history and regularly take names to the temple.
- Regularly engage Primary-age children and youth in family history and age-appropriate temple work.
- Help each recent convert complete a three-generation pedigree chart and take a relative's name to the temple within three weeks of baptism.
- Quarterly Stake Temple weekends focused on all members participating in temple-related activities, including youth baptisms, initiatories, endowments, and sealings.
